locally grown berries
|
Did you know the name "Haskap" comes from Indigenous Ainu people from the Japanese island of Hokkaido, meaning “many fruits on branches” and the berries are loaded with nutrition and are high in Vitamin C, Potassium and antioxidants.
Haskap berries have a tart/sweet taste and are juicy. The flavour can be described as a combination of blueberry and raspberry with hints of black currant, Saskatoon berry and blackberry. The skin of the berry is very thin and melts in your mouth! Instagram: @haskapandharvest Availability varies. |
